SUMMARY:

We are looking for individuals interested in partnering with one or more external wholesalers to call on Financial Advisors to help grow and develop their respective sales territories. Our office in Berwyn, PA is responsible for the distribution of Forethought Annuities. This a sales position, with a base salary and monthly commission paid on territory sales.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work closely with external wholesalers to continue to develop already established territories.
  • Make proactive sales calls into territories to uncover opportunities for new business.
  • Maintain and service existing relationships with current producers.
  • Explain in detail the features, benefits and advantages of the Forethought products to the financial advisors.
  • Provide personalized, web-based hypothetical illustrations.
  • Follow up on conferences, wholesaler meetings, and existing hypothetical illustrations.
  • Place supply orders for marketing material.
  • Follow-up with financial advisors with answers to questions or to make sure information was received and understood.
  • Log phone all activities into Salesforce.com CRM for tracking purposes.
  • Act as a liaison between Forethought and wholesalers in the field.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
  • Responsible, conscientious and self-motivated.
  • Positive, flexible attitude.
  • Strong PC Skills.
  • Ability to work well with others and function well as a member of a team.
  • Be flexible with ability to accept, create and manage change.
  • Display willingness to quickly learn product lines, procedures and workflows.
  • Create and maintain a harmonious work environment.
  • Responsible for fulfilling weekly call requirements as laid out by sales manager
  • Have Series 6, 63 and Pennsylvania State Life exam successfully completed.
  • Financial Services sales experience preferred.
